TEEN ISRAEL EXPERIENCE The Teen Israel Experience (T.I.E.) is a program of the Houston Jewish community whose goal is to enable every Jewish teenager to have a meaningful and affordable high school summer experience of Israel. Through a financial partnership between the Jewish Federation, Houston area synagogues, and the teenager's family, T.I.E. forms an incentive savings plan that funds participation in a variety of recognized youth tours of Israel. In bringing teens to Israel, it deepens their understanding of the many facets of Israel and strengthens their bond to the Jewish state. Congregation Or Ami is proud to be a participant in Houston's T.I.E. program. In honor of our children's achievements, we contribute annually to their T.I.E. savings account.
