MONTHLY TORAH READING SCHEDULE

Schedule of Torah Readings

Tallit/Kippah

The custom of wearing a kippah is a traditional practice that emphasizes humility before God. The tallit is a mitzvah that symbolizes the 613 Torah laws which form the basis of our covenantal relationship with God and our fellow Jews. We ask that all Jewish males wear a kippah and those over the age of 13 put on a tallit. Women called to the Bimah for an honor should have their heads covered

Girls and women over 13 years of age are encouraged to participate in these practices. If you wish to participate in the readings, please contact Rabbi Osadchey by e-mail using the link provided here
